WIP Foundation Privacy Statement

Personal Information

WIP Foundation does not sell, lend or share email addresses, postal addresses, telephone numbers or any other personal information with other nonprofit organizations or commercial companies.  WIP Foundation does not send donor mailings on behalf of other organizations.

We ask for personal information on our “Donate Online” page. We use this information to acknowledge receipt of your donation for tax purposes. We ask for contact details on other program-specific pages and documents, such as the “Scholarship Request Form,” for those specific purposes. In addition, your name and other information will be placed on our mailing list unless you opt out of receiving future mailings. We use your comments to improve our site and our programs.
Credit Card Security

WIP Foundation is grateful for the donations we receive that help us to fulfill our global mission and aims. It is important to us that the information you give to us when making an online donation remains secure. Your credit card information is secured by a reputable security company. The information is used only for that particular transaction and is not stored.
Domain name

WIP Foundation’s Web server automatically recognizes, but does not collect or use your domain name (IP address). WIP Foundation anonymously tracks your visit in order to compile statistical information about the use of our website. We do not collect individual information about you or your use of this site.

Cookie Use: A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer’s hard drive. Some web sites use cookies to collect detailed personal user information. WIP Foundation uses cookies only to check to see if you are a return visitor. We do not use cookies to surreptitiously collect any personal information from your computer.
Email addresses

Our website does not automatically recognize your email address. We collect the email addresses of those who communicate with us by email, and we ask for your email address on our “Donate Online” page and other forms and pages related to specific programs of the WIP Foundation. 

If you communicate with us by email or give us your email address, we will send you periodic email updates. If you do not want to receive these email updates, email or write to us at wip@wipfoundation.org, or follow the instructions at the bottom of any email update you may receive.

We use email links to allow you to contact us directly with questions or comments. This information is used to respond directly to your questions or comments. We may also use your comments to improve our site and program. We may file the emails you send to follow up with your comments.
